Download the ScanScraps App. Scan your compostable ScanScraps bag and place it in the caddy.

COLLECT YOUR SCRAPS

Add food scraps to the caddy. Once the caddy is nearly full, remove the bag.  Just twist close. Please don’t tie a knot.

DROP YOUR BAG

Take your bag and phone to a designated local drop-off site. Record the drop to earn ScanScratch.

2.)  Sign Up & Create a New Account

How to Scan A Bag

1.)   Open App & go to Bag-Pen.

2.)   Select Scan-bag-now!

3.)   Hold viewer over QR code located on bag.

4.)   Scanned bag appears in Bag-Pen.

5.)   Place bag in your kitchen collection bin.

6.)   Start filling it with food scraps.

How to Drop A Bag

1.)   Take filled bag to your organics drop site.

2.)   Open ScanScraps App & go to Bag-Pen.

3.)   Select the bag to drop. Press Drop.

4.)   The App tracks your dropped bags so you can earn ScanScratch rewards.

5.)    Not ready to go to a drop site? Select “Freeze” on the app & take the bag later.
